My Communications Work

Social Media Experience

As the editorial assistant and undergraduate writer at the UC Davis Environmental Health Sciences Center, I assisted with social media content production, campaign planning, website management, and analytic tracking. Below, you can see some of my work posted on their social media channels.

I have experience working with Canva, Sitefarm, Adobe Lightroom, and Photoshop. I also produced the center's quarterly newsletter.

In addition, I work on the center's website and am trained in SEO and CTR. Over the summer of 2022, I worked alongside a mentor to go through and update the content and images of the entire website, redesign many pages, and embed pop-ups.

This is a poster I co-created to promote the EHSC Annual Retreat! It was featured on Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook and matches the branding of the 2022 Annual Retreat.

This poster was used by the EHSC and UC Davis office of research and strategic initiatives to recruit students to submit poster presentations.

This design was featured on all of the EHSC platforms, promoting the film, Dignidad that premiered at the annual retreat. The branding on this flyer matches the branding of the film.

This is another version of a poster that was used to promote the annual retreat. As you will see across all of the annual retreat flyers: the colors, pictures, fonts, and language are uniform.

To further promote the EHSC annual retreat, I asked EHSC scientists and staff how they defined the 2022 theme and then turned those quotes into graphics that were then posted in a carousel.

I created this infographic to promote and draw traffic to an article I wrote regarding children's environmental health.

These graphics were posted as a carousel on Instagram to share details about the September science seminar speakers. The backgrounds of each slide are research pictures from Dr. Rogers and Dr. Grodzki's labs.
